Andrius and Sigrid
Sigrid started dancing when she was 13 years old. After 13 years of extensive training in various styles including Jazz, HipHop, Modern/Contemporary, Ballet, Oriental Belly Dance, Tribal Fusion and Ballroom Dance, she discovered her new passion Brazilian Zouk. She loves the mixure of technicality while still having the freedom to create your own dance style as well as the focus on the connection between the partners.
Next to the regular dance classes and her yoga practice, Sigrid regularly attends workshops and dance events with teachers from all over the world.
For Sigrid, dancing is a language that allows you to discover and express yourself. From the connection to yourself, you can connect to your partner, the music and the world around you.
Andrius started to dance Latin and Ballroom competitions at the age of 16. He also has a background in Jazz dance and Ballett as well as Salsa which he taught for two years. He has been dancing Zouk since 2014 and teaches a classical, flowing style with a big emphasis on technique. He tries to show the fun in discovering your own way of moving while still paying attention to your partner.
Munique Dança Forró
Well Paz comes from São Paulo, one of the largest cities in Brazil. Music accompanied his life from an early age, as he came from am musical family thas was fascinated by the „Roda de Samba“.
At the age of 13 he began to dance professionally „Axé da Bahia“ and took part in competions. Axé da Bahia is very well known for the flexibility of the body and hip isolation.
At the age of 15 he danced Hip Hop, followed by Sertanejo Universitário and Forró. His great passion for couple dance began.
For 7 years he has been dancing Zouk wih passion and teached in the most famous dance schools in São Paulo, such as Solum and Akros. He danced and learned from Brazil´s Zouk icons like Rubía Frutuoso and Bruno Galhardo. He joined to the Zouk Brasileiro and made it to his dance style.
The characetristic thing about Well´s dance style is the combination of different dance elements (Hip Hop, Black, Jazz Dance) with Zouk.
In his lessons, he makes sure that the leader leaves enough space for the follower to express their own dance body movement. Zouk Dance should be the expression of a playful dialogue between the two dancers.
